And the advertisements, which are the loudest thing on the page, as they were then.
It comes as one sheet of newsprint, folded to fit the envelope. Unfold it and it reads as a paper.

Every word comes from British newspapers of the time, long out of copyright. We keep the spelling, the prices and the typography of the day, and we don’t invent the news.
The first issue carries the news of November 1876 and is planned to post in mid-November 2026. After that, one a month, always 150 years behind.
